The character that arouse my sympathy the most is Abigail Williams.The reason why is how she manipulates her friends (the 7 girls) to play around in this little act their doing and telling lies that people are witches.
I agree with Leslie, Abigail Williams wants attention so bad she will lie to get it. With Abigail doing this, along with her friends, they are killing many people.
The character I feel sympathy for the most is Betty Parris because her cousin Abigail is pretty much making her do the stuff she does. Its Abigail that pressures them into things and pressures them into dancing for the devil.
I disagree with both of yall, i have no sympathy for any of the girls that are making these false accuzations. They are basically murdering people, so why should we have sympathy for the murderers? I have sympathy for the helpless people being murdered for no apparent reason other than these girls enjoying the attention they recieve from these trials. -Nuff said
I agree with tyler even though he pays little attion in class i agree with him. The girls turned it into game and are killing inicent people so i dont fill any sympathy for them but for the ones that are are being accused.
i have sympathy for abigail, because shes a lieing pathectic young 17 year old. And she needs jesus in her life. She got the 7 girls to lie for her an that inst right.
I feel sympathy for John Proctor his wife keeps on bringing up him cheating on her with abigail. He knows that Abigail is faking the witch accusations . He has to decide if he wants to snitch on Abigail and risk being accused of witch craft. Or not snitch and watch innocent people get hung
