My opinion of Hale's questions to the Proctors is that he really didn't gain much information. And no, his methods really didn't help him uncover the devil's work.
Leslie is right again, he gained absolutly nothing from going and talking to the Proctors. Yes he may have decided that she wasn't guilty but she was still taken away.
I agree with Leslie, Once again. His methods of unvocering the devils work didnt work. Because they know the ammendments and so he gained nothing. John Proctor just forgot one commandment and supposibly "witches cant say any of the commandments." So his questions to the Proctors were pointless.
His questions were pointless and got him no where. anyone can know the 10 commandments and still worship the devil. therefore his questions were very invalid. im not a fan of hale, although i do like john proctor.. no homo
I do not see how knowing the commandments or going to church has anything to do with you being a witch. The people that they have already killed apparently went to church, so I dont see how that has anything to do with it.
The questions did not answer anything really, in the end it was a waste of time. Just cause he didnt know the commandments did not mean he was a witch. Hale shouldent say proctore is a witch
I think they are valid they claim that witches cant memorize them, and if thats what they believe then they should ask those questions. i thought it was ironic that John Proctor couldnt remember audultry sense he cheated with Abigail.
my opinion of the q's hale asked the proctors were stupid. no his methods stink too. bc even if you were working for the devil you could know the ten comandments and still worship the devil.
