  2. The key conflict was if Abigail or Mary was lying. I think it was the most important conflict because it decides if the people were innocent or not.

  4. i believe the conflict is the part where the proctors are trying to disprove abigail in the court room. She has been faking the whole thing but they have nothing to go against her with, its her word against theirs. i consider this conflict the most important of the play because the winner of this argument could change the whole outcome of the future.

  6. The key conflict would be where everyone is either with or against the court trying to prove what is happening. Where Hale and john is saying that the girls are lieing and is all pretending and the court thinks that maybe the devil himself is trying to distract them.

  8. The key conflict of Act 3 is when John Procter is trying to get Elizabeth out of jail. The reason why is because Abigail is just making it up that Elizabeth is a witch.Abigail just want Elizabeth to get hanged so she can be with John Procter.Yes, i think that this is the most important conflict of the play.

  9. When Mr. Proctor is trying to prove Elizabeth is innocent. Abigail told the court that Elizabeth sent out her soul. John is trying to get her out of Jail because she didn't do anything wrong. That is the key conflict in act 3.
